Meet Jazze 'RadioChica' Maxie

Jazze Maxie was born and raised in Fort Worth Texas! She obtains a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Management with a minor in Business from the University Of Texas At Arlington and an Associate’s Degree from Tarrant County College in Liberal Arts. Jazze has been in radio over 13 years working for Urban One Dallas and Edwards Media. Currently, Jazze is the Community Affairs Director, Internship Coordinator and an On Air Personality!

 You can hear Jazze’s Midday show which garners consistent high ratings Monday –Friday from 12pm-3pm on 94.5 The Beat in Waco. In Dallas you can hear Jazze on Saturday from 9am-2pm and on Sunday from 7pm-12am. Jazze’s show is all about touching the community, keeping it real and providing you the latest breaking news and gossip. Every Saturday at 9:10am Jazze highlights a woman with her “She Represents Segment” in conjunction with the Dallas Weekly Newspaper.

You can also tune into her Community Calendar Program that airs every Sunday morning on 97.9 The Beat from 6am-6:30am and on Majic 94.5 from 5am-5:30am. The Community Calendar allows Jazze to interview various community leaders regarding informative topics including Education, Health, Domestic Violence, Arts and Community Events. One of Jazze’s many passions is helping people and changing lives. 

Some of Jazze’s initiatives are Be The Vote, Prom Makeovers, School Speaking Engagements, HIV/AIDS and Breast Cancer Awareness. Under Jazze’s leadership Urban One Dallas has been nominated four times for the National Crystal Award which highlights radio station’s outstanding community achievements. Jazze has also received many Community and Peer awards. 

She currently serves on the UNCF’s Board Of Young Professionals, has been featured in various newspapers, magazines and was the television Spokesperson for PCI Health Training Center and She’s Happy Hair. Jazze is married with one child. You can follow Jazze on social media @JazzeRadioChica.
